Oil Refinery Millwright Jobs
Millwrights install, repair, and overhaul large and small rotating equipment including steam and gas turbines, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and conveyors. This usually involves attaching or detaching the equipment from metal frames and concrete foundations. Millwrights must be proficient with hand tools and power tools. They must also be able to move heavy machinery using dollies, trucks, and hoists. Millwrights also need experience precisely placing the machinery using squares, plumb bobs, rules, and micrometers. Welding knowledge is general required.
