Structural Engineer Jobs
Structural Engineers ensure compliance with international codes and standards of structures within the oil refinery, such as blast proof buildings. They must be familiar with how these codes are applied during front-end engineering design (FEED) and the engineering, procurement and construction phases of projects and the post-construction phase of projects, such as stress-testing, evaluation, and providing on-going support. Structural Engineers must have a thorough working knowledge of engineering software involved with these processes and be able to work closely with front-end design engineers and other engineers, checking their work when necessary and ensuring that international codes and standards and Owner specifications and standards are met accordingly.
