Pipeline Design Engineers are responsible for drafting project models and construction specifications related to the design and construction of oil and gas industry pipelines and infrastructure. They are also involved in the Permitting, Budget, Cost Management, and Reporting aspects of pipeline projects and should have a successful track record of pipeline projects.
Pipeline Design Engineers should have experience interacting with clients and federal agencies in addition to creating construction specifications, bid documents, feasibility studies, and alignment sheets.
Pipeline Design Engineers are typically required to have five years or more in the oil and gas pipeline industry and have experience with NGL transmission and liquid pipelines. They should be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management software.
