Pipeline Integrity Engineers develop and manage Integrity Management Programs for petroleum, gas, and chemical pipelines and conduct integrity inspections to ensure compliance with federal protocols. They must have experience in identifying High Consequence Areas (HCAs) and updating risk models for pipeline segments. Their responsibilities include recommending appropriate integrity assessment methods used to identify threats and developing plans of action based on the results of those integrity assessment methods. Pipeline Integrity Engineers must also be proficient in preparing preventive risk analysis measures and assessing re-inspection schedules while making the appropriate recommendations for each individual segment. They must also assist in integrity oversight to the regulated assets of POCs (Pipeline Operator Clients).
Pipeline Integrity Engineers should have advanced skills with MS Office, ArcMap, MS Access, and MS Project.
